I've had this itching in my feet since I was just a little kid.

Well, not much has changed. Christmas came and went. I got a Martin Fillo jersey! It completely made my week. And the Penguins won last night after about a week of really bad play at times. The combination of staying up for games plus the fact that sunlight doesn't reach my room until 1pm has really messed up my sleeping schedule. I haven't woken up before noon since I got here. Oh well. It's not like I have anything that I need to do.

Almost no one is here right now and the ones that are, I haven't talked to yet. I'm crossing my fingers that I'm not stuck at home for New Year's Eve again. I've yet to not spend New Year's Eve by myself or with like 3 family members. It's great.

We're hoping my acceptance letter from Auckland gets here on Monday. That way I can send in the visa paperwork right away and hopefully have my passport back a few days after we return from northern Norway. Once that's done, I can book my flight to Finland (and possibly other places)!

I'm about to go look at the Stavanger Oilers' schedule and figure out what games I can go to. I need to do something besides sit in the basement. Ugh.
